Physiotherapy
Electric Muscle Stimulation
Low-volt galvanic current is applied to the involved surrounding musculature to help reduce deep tissue inflammation, increase local circulation, and reduce muscle tension and/or spasm.
Motorized Segmental Traction
With the patient lying face up on a traction table, a series of rollers travel up and down the spine creating a wave-like rhythm that passively mobilizes the spinal joints causing increased circulation of both blood and spinal fluid as well as relaxation of the spinal muscles. This is true passive exercise of the spinal column.
Low Level Laser Therapy
This is a physical modality that emits photons (light) in very specific regions of the electromagnetic spectrum. It is the most researched and published modality in physical rehabilitation and has demonstrated a multitude of clinical benefits that include relieving pain from minor muscular and joint aches, pain and stiffness associated with arthritis, relaxing muscle spasms, and increasing local blood circulation. We have had great success with this therapy in treating sprains and strains of the shoulder, knee, and ankle, bursitis of the hip and shoulder, carpal tunnel syndrome, plantar fasciitis as well as other conditions.
